Unconfirmed sources are telling that Tennessee head basketball coach Bruce Pearl received a contract offer from Memphis Tigers. The University of Tennessee are denying said rumour.
The head coaching job at Memphis is vacant and they are chasing someone to fill the spot, that much is a fact. The very strong rumour about Bruce Pearl says that a meeting will take place very soon and he also have received an offer of a 7 year 21 million dollar contract. Since Pearl and Calipari aren't the best of friends this could be a very interesting story if it turns out to be true.
